You’ll need a 1 or 2 liter soda bottle, 2 pairs of wheels and their axles, an ice pick or other sharp tool, and some electrical tape. An old wagon or other children’s toy is a good place to find your wheels.
Poke holes just large enough for the axles to be pushed through. Connect to the wheels on both ends. Poke dozens of small holes in three “sides” of the bottle. You don’t want to poke holes in the underside, so you won’t build up a huge puddle under your sprinkler. Attach your garden hose to the neck of the bottle and wrap with electrical tape to help prevent leaks. Turn the water on, and you’ve got a lawn sprinkler made from recycled parts!
You will need to move your sprinkler every-so-often, by hand, in order to water your entire lawn.
